This watch is so much better than it has any right to be. Converted me into a bracelet lover as well. I bought both the khaki mechanical and this in 38mm at the same time and, frankly, this one blows the mechanical out of the water when it comes to that ever subjective "wow" factor and feel on the wrist, so I'm probably going to be selling the mechanical shortly. Even on my 7.25-5" wrist (depending on the weather), it looks fantastic and I see no reason to get the bigger version. Like many, my only gripes with it are the lack of AR coating and the lack of screw down crown to make me feel comfortable swimming with it. The AR coating isn't a big deal but it's just one of those things where it impacts your ability to fully appreciate looking at the dial as you can only really see it from certain angles in the sun. The longer I own the watch the more I notice little details that speak to its quality, like how nice the metal on the hands is finished and the bracelet which feels so silky smooth and satisfying especially by the lugs. 9/10 near perfect watch that strongly competes with watches even 3-4x the price.

Honestly some dials are stunning, while most of them are meh! I am looking for this piece, and the dial variations is absolutely wild! I know many jewelers do not want to stock this watch because the dials are so hit and miss. The dial pictured here is very meh IMO i wouldnt buy this particular one! And that 41.5mm looks huge for some reason , it wears like a 43

These Terra Nova Bremont are really cool in my opinion - love the 3D block indices, case and even bracelet. However, I feel the new Supermarine range is too generic, and I loved the previous triptick cases. But yeah - these are cool, masculine and the big crown and overall aesthetic is very different and I enjoy it. The rebranding/new logo and wording on the dial I’m less sure of…

I bought this watch and it has spent more time getting its besel fixed than on my wrist. It is a piece of garbage.

In person this watch is stunning & a gem. Seiko’s thinnest diver. I own the SJE101 and love it! These are underrated

I think you’re right on about the lug length. I’ve tried on both the 36 and the 39.5 side by side at a watch fair and I felt the lugs on the 36 made the watch seem a little bit stunted. Not only that but there is a lot going on, on the face of this watch. The 36 looks cramped, especially next to the 39.5 which gives all the elements of the dial room to coexist in a pleasant and proportionate manner.

I own one of these watches. Went with the white face with blue moon phase dial. It’s very accurate on time and enjoy wearing it. Can also count on telling time in dark places like a movie theater.

I was on a waitlist for 7 months and this is what they offered me I took it! It wasn’t what I originally wanted but once it was on my wrist I just had to get it. Lots of compliments so far. I’m hoping to get a Starbucks in the future though

Bluesy is elegant and timeless. Definitely a keeper watch. One of an Icon in two-tone class in all luxury timepieces.

Black dial is better looking than white

I purchased the same black Rolex Daytona. I thought I was buying a preowned Rolex. Unfortunately PayPal sent me a message. The company that I was purchasing the watch from was a fake Rolex. Also, there was two digits missing from the tracking number I couldn’t track the watch two weeks went by PayPal got the other two digits the third week on a Friday. I got my watch. It was Wrapped in plastic in a Rolex box with all the papers . A watch dealer seen the watch on my arm and said to me you paid a pretty penny for that watch 27,000. I decided to tell him after he looked at it that it was fake. He said no way took it in the back, put it on the right microscope and said this was a super clone. Unfortunately, for the people that sold me the watch PayPal did not pay them. 🤣 also PayPal gave me my money back also told me to keep the watch.😂🤣😂

I disagree on the bracelet. It seems cheap to me: The butterfly clasp doesn’t open nicely, feeling cheap. And while the bracelet links are fairly solid, mine got amazingly scuffed up after only a couple month’s of light use. I can’t compare metals between this and other luxury watches, but I get the impression that the metal on this bracelet is softer. Similar situation on the scuffing with Rado HyperChrome. You definitely won’t get this amount of scuffing from more expensive watches.

I find the 24hr white inner chapter ring too white. Might be better in silver, or something more subdued. Or just get rid of it - seems unnecessary.

I like and respect your review but i really hate the watch

I like Mido and it is a beautiful watch, but this is not a true diver watch...There are other version of this watch with 60 minute outer bezel that you can call a diver. Also, if you really want to compare it to the other divers in the $1500 price range such as Doxa / Zodiac / Longines / Oris / etc. there is a lot of competition in that range. I personally wear Logine Hydroconquest as my daily watch which is a true diver, not that anyone using them as a dive computer now with all the air integration we have available to us.
